Reiki can be translated to Rei, meaning "spiritual wisdom" and Ki, "life energy" and is pronounced ray-key. Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes healing, stress reduction and relaxation. Life energy is administered by "laying on hands" and channeling throughout therapist and client. Whether you're looking for a full body attunement or relief in specific discomfort, Reiki will help balance and realign bodily energy. This modality can affect the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual parts of a human as a whole and also facilitate in a profound release in tension. Skylar is a trained Level II Reiki facilitator and incorporates this modality in her massage practice.
